Release date : 15 Oct 2021

The bus shelter is an indispensable facility in a city, which reflects the basic service level of a city and people's living standards. People who often take the bus should know that the bus shelter has information signs and shelters from rain and sun. Baffle, there are some advertising spots, so in addition to these functions, the bus shelter also has some functions that people don't pay much attention to.

1. The first is the trash bins on both sides of the shelter. You can throw garbage in them while waiting for the bus, and most of them are sorted trash bins, so that people don't have to pick up the trash on the truck or throw it around the site to pollute the environment. You can keep the riding environment clean and tidy.

2. The second is the lighting function. Bus shelters usually have lights on the top to help illuminate the information of the display column. If there are no street lights or relatively small shelters around the shelter, the display column will be darker at night. And it’s not conducive to people looking for sites. Therefore, when designing the bus shelter, it is necessary to design the lighting to help people find the stop and view the information about the bus, and it is also safer.

3. In addition, it is the protection of guardrails. In some areas, bus shelters will be specially set up with guardrails to protect passengers' safety in getting on and off the bus, and can improve the efficiency of getting on and off the bus and prevent congestion. This function is easy to be overlooked. But it is very practical, especially in places with a relatively large flow of people, which can effectively divert traffic, allowing passengers to line up automatically before boarding, reducing boarding time.

There are many hidden functions of the bus shelter, which integrate the functions of riding, rest, and information inquiry, which is exactly what the saying "The sparrow is small, but it has all the internal organs."
